Room 1300 at the main campus of the Technical University of Munich remained vacant for over a year due to safety deficiencies. Its conventional lecture hall layout with narrow seating rows severely limited spatial flexibility. The aim of the project was to develop a quick and feasible solution to reactivate the space and enable versatile use. A temporary intervention was realized through a timber structure and OSB panels, creating a more open and modular spatial configuration. Following its implementation, the space was successfully used by various institutions for workshops, seminars, and events, demonstrating the potential of temporary measures to activate previously unused spaces.
